About Dil Tamang
Dil Tamang started off singing at local deusi and bhailo programs organized by friends and families until one day he rubbed shoulders with singer Yam Baral who admired his vocal talent. From then on, with an instant boost in confidence and years of hard work, testing both the fruits of success and the seeds of failure, Dil Tamang has finally released his debut album.

Titled “Sambandha”, the album comprises seven songs of pop genre, backed by Jems Pradhan, Deepesh Singh, Manas Ghale, and Sandesh Pariyar, as composers behind his album. “I’ve come a long way, this album was started back in 2005 while I was working with Sunil Bardewa who was arranging my songs” says Tamang. Although Tamang never engaged in professional singing lessons, his singing potential are very promising.

He has joined several competitions in the past such as Nepali Tara, in which he was disqualified in the third round. His first notable song was “Dekhen Aaj Kina Jhukeko Mero Desh Ko Jhanda”, a song centered around political message in 2005.

In 2007 he moved to Sydney where he got various opportunities to sing for the local Australian Nepali organizations. He recalls the moment quite fondly stating, “I got very good feedback and support from the audiences in Sydney, that was enough for me to really start working on my album.”

The featured video for his album “Ke Sakchhau” is directed by Prasanna Paudel and was shot by Lime Lights Entertainment. The album is released under the banner of Asian Music Centre.
